Join us for the Grand Opening of Slate

You may have seen the post card at the last Beer and Blog. You may have seen the Calagator listing with the details. But now you’ve heard from the horses mouth that we’re going to celebrate the grand opening of Slate Technologies this Friday!

We have enjoyed beering and blogging with the folks behind Slate Technologies (folks like @chrisorourke @elizabetcb @techwraith and @jeffreykaine). It is our honor to show up and celebrate their grand opening. Slate will be providing free beer and pizza, so we’re pretty sure that means @jkuramot will be there. I’m also fairly certain they have RockBand, and that always means a good time!

It’s not everyday that our fellow techies get to open their own shop, especially in a down economy. So come celebrate their big day with us! Afterward, we’re all heading to BarCamp, w00t!

Since BarCampPortland starts 6pm over at CubeSpace, you might want to plan some carpools / party busses for those of you who need to get to CubeSpace after Beer and Blog.

Good suggestion, Dawn! Christine and I can give two people a ride to CubeSpace.

Jake you broke the rule that there’s no such thing as free lunch. For that, we give you free beer!!

Thanks to all of you for coming out Friday. Had a blast hosting you all and look forward to drinking beer with you all very soon again.
Sadly we don’t currently have RockBand but will be getting it very soon (not an addict).
