So, this Friday we say goodbye.
We’ll talk about what made the Green Dragon work. Where should we take it next.
Tonight is Ignite Portland 4, of which Beer and Blog is a proud sponsor. I made a video for tonight that is a slideshow with a song from Dirty Dancing that was intended to be humorous and touching. Now, it feels like a marker for the next phase of Beer and Blog. The closing of an innocent time that is now giving way to an idea that has outgrown the Green Dragon.
Ok, admittedly I had a beer with lunch and am feeling a little “I love you, man.”

Not that it is a serious issue, but just an FYI that Upcoming is having a bad morning and will not let me RSVP. Because I know you are worried about attendance at Beer & Blog.
Seriously? You guys are going to move the venue because of ownership? Let’s wait to see how things change.
As far as I understand it, Green Dragon will still be the same great place, just with different owners. I read that their plan is to keep it how it is.
I’ll wait to see what happens before I judge the situation.
The only good thing about the take over is that the blogging geeks are leaving!!
